Israel of today is a small country in the Middle East, with borders which were created as a result of wars, sease fire agreements and peace agreements with our neighboring countries.

This is the Land of the Bible, the promised land, a land which was called Judea in Biblical days, a land which went from hand to hand since the time of Abraham, through David and Solomon, through the Roman period and up to our time, to 1948 where Israel declared independence.

As you see from the map, the land is very narrow, very small but yet very significant and full of reach history.
