Sumac is a well-known spice in Middle Eastern cuisine , prepared from the fruits of each of the 250 varieties of the og plant . The most identified species of this species in the country is the tanner's og.

The use of spice is especially common in the Middle East , where it grows naturally in Mediterranean forests, from the Levant to Italy , but some species of the og plant are also grown in North America

The lemon-flavored powder is most often used in meat and chicken dishes and in salads , especially with onions . It is also added to the spice mixture of which the hyssop is composed, the Zaatar
